Join the NJC International Master Class in Environmental and Climate Journalism
Do you want to become one of 20 Nordic and Russian journalists participating in a 4 day cross border Master Class & Network in september 2016 in the Russian city of Arkhangelsk?
Why the Arctic?
The Master Class will focus on the increasingly important Arctic region

To strengthen collaboration between journalists covering the Arctic or working with climate and environment, add to your network, and learn new journalistic tools and methods for handling climate data.
Date & place:
September 8-11 in Arkhangelsk, Russia.
Global issues call for network and a strenghtening of cross border journalism collaboration. We want journalists from Nordics and Russia to meet in the Arctic city of Arkhangelsk, Russia. The Arkhangelsk administrative area stretches all the way to Novaja Zemlja and Franz Josef Land archipelago.
Please send your motivated application (in English) before July 1 to Nordic Journalist Centre. The application should shortly describe a topic or a problem you would like to present and maybe even address during the Master Class.

If you are approved, you can join the Master Class free of charge including free transportation back and forth to Arkhangelsk.
Who should apply?
Journalists living and working in the Arctic and covering climate/environment issues. You must be able to speak and write English. You must bring your own PC.
International Master Class:
The goal is to have a mixed international group of 10 Russian, 10 Nordic/Arctic journalists.
